Skiing on the Petzen
Just 20 minutes away by car is the Petzen ski resort, which offers slopes to suit all tastes: Beginners, casual skiers, competitive skiers, snowboarders, or freestylers can look forward to 15 kilometers of slopes and a state-of-the-art cable car. Mount Petzen guarantees sunshine and winter thrills.
The snow-making facilities in the Petzen resort ensure there is snow all the way down to the valley, even during mild winter months when there is little snowfall.
Enjoy the magnificent mountain panorama at an altitude of 1,700 meters where the mountain station is your starting point for carving on perfectly groomed slopes, snowshoe hiking around the mountain lake, touring the summit or simply relaxing in the charming mountain hut.
Tip:
If you do not have equipment of your own or prefer to leave it at home, you can rent top-quality equipment at the ski and snowboard rental shop next to the car park. There is also plenty to keep children amused here – "Petzi's Kinderland", Petzen's ski school, offers courses for all age groups.
